Social and Emotional Intelligence: What I Learned From Being Fired From My First Job.

Before I became a leadership coach, before I started this blog, and long before I traveled the world delivering keynotes and leading breakout sessions at women’s leadership conferences, I was a leader’s worst nightmare. That unfortunate leader was my first boss.

I spoke with Tara Jaye Frank about how I screwed up in my first job, crashed and burned, got fired, and ultimately discovered the power of emotional intelligence. Here’s the story, from her book Say Yes: A Woman’s Guide to Advancing Her Professional Purpose.
